Rudra Learns to Wait

Rudra loved going to the market with his mother. The stalls were full of bright colors, and the smell of fresh bread made his tummy rumble.

At the bakery stall, Rudra saw a tray of golden buns. He wanted one right away. His little feet began to move forward quickly, and he reached out his hand.
But then Rudra noticed something: there was already a lady standing in front of him, waiting for her bread. The shopkeeper was busy helping her.

Rudra remembered what his mother had told him: “In the market, we wait our turn. Everyone gets their chance.”
So, Rudra stopped, held his mother’s hand, and took a deep breath. He watched patiently as the lady got her bread and smiled.

When it was finally Rudra’s turn, the shopkeeper bent down and said,
“Thank you for waiting so nicely, young man. Here’s a bun just for you.”

Rudra’s eyes sparkled. He felt proud that he had waited, and even happier when the shopkeeper noticed his good manners.
