The Bubble Blast

You can try this simple science experiment with kids using everyday items from home. It’s quick, safe, and full of surprises! Adding colors is optional but that is going to bring an extra-long ‘WOW’ with its result.

So, let’s directly dive into it….

Materials Needed:

  1. Tray-1
  2. Lemon Wedges (2-6 pieces)
  3. Lemon juice (5-10 spoons)
  4. Baking Soda (4-5 spoons)
  5. Food Colours of choice (optional)
  6. Scooping tool (spoon or clay shapers)

Cut the lemons into halves and place them on the tray. **[THIS STEP SHOULD STRICTLY BE DONE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION]
Use the back of a spoon (or another scooping tool) to gently mash the inner pulp of each lemon.

Sprinkle about ½ teaspoon of baking soda onto each lemon half.
(Optional) Add 3 drops of food coloring to each lemon—try different colors for extra fun!

Now, slowly pour the lemon juice over these lemons. Stand back and enjoy the fizzy magic!

Experiments like this are not only exciting but also educational. They spark curiosity and help children discover the science hidden in everyday things.
